ABS on the 2007 DL

Hi All,

Just introduced myself and now have a question to ask.  I'm looking at the 2007 DL650 and they have the option of ABS.  Just wondering if anyone has had ABS or has an opinion on the pros/cons of ABS on bikes.

I like to control my own fate... but on really heavy bikes, ABS is probably a good idea.  For lighter bikes, I'm not sure I'd spring for it but the better systems might just save your bacon on slippery surfaces.
