Uploading Avatar.
« on: March 15, 2005, 02:25:11 pm »
I'm trying to upload my own avatar and for some reason it isn't working.I've done it on other forums with no problems but I just can't make it happen.Am I doing something wrong?   I don't see an "Update Profile" button or anything like that to click on after getting my pic through the "Browse" function. Please help.

Is it just a minor flaw in the software or is it something I'm doing/not doing?    I just noticed while I was trying again that something changed in that area, but still didn't do anything for me..I think if we had an "Update" button at the bottom beside the "Change Profile" button,we could just click on our pic,the hit "Update" and it would be hella easy.Just my .02...Thanks for your help,Shaman.

It's looking like a problem with the image resizing feature.  I'm on the support forums asking about it now... but if you size your image down to 65x65 pixels, you can upload it.

I got it, I think.  Had to recompile some software a few times to get the proper support built into the server, for some reason it couldn't re-size JPEG files.  Now to find what's causing the bitching in the logs re: spell checker. :)
