Remember I mentioned the 2007 R1 having issues?

Here's a video and details on the problems people are having.  Specifically, throttle response that sometimes doesn't, and pegs that are cracking.

Already has.  A number of people have had the catalyzers melt and plug up the exhaust system.

does it actually have a separate converter or is the catalyst in the pipe?

A converter under the bike from what I can tell from pictures.  There's a mesh in it.  It does look like you can just pull the whole thing out, which is good or bad depending on your views on pollution, I guess.
