Sunday at the Races
« on: May 18, 2007, 02:37:56 pm »
Well since the real world is conspiring to keep me from racing this weekend i am at least going to go over sunday to spectate. Anyone interested in heading for Shannonville via the scenic route through Picton? Should leave by 9am - think the races start at 10:30 - meet up at the coffee trailer (Timmies) at 8:30am.  Weather is supposed to be good....saddle up!

I've got to do the family thing on Sunday but I might be interested in it.  A little finagling is required.

Same problem with me, I just won't have time to prep the bike etc. properly before I get there, and you know how much it sucks to do all that work and then have the tech tell you the bike needs something you can't do.  Also, I just found out that I need a transponder this year - guess I should have visited the VRRA site a bit earlier, hrmm?

Tell them you'll be back in time for sunday dinner - there family duties taken care of! FYI you can rent transponders when you register - you could buy one for $450 but if you're only going to do a round or two just rent one $50/weekend. If you can make it take note that it's the usual timmies so we don't end up at 2 different ones this time  ;D

I might make it after-all Jim. I would really like to meet Genevieve Lesieur since XperTech Sportbike is their sponsor for this season :-)

Read about it here: http://www.xtsportbikeaccessories.com/releases/release/2478479/12836.htm

Where and what time would you meet tomorrow for the ride up ?
