Sunday Ride
« on: June 09, 2007, 07:34:47 pm »
Sorry for the last minute post - forgot to get a notice up.....Some of us are doing a Calabogie Loop Sunday.  Stop over at Calabogie race track is planned -- there is a group doing trackdays this weekend and are giving 2 escorted parade laps at lunchtime to any interested street riders who would like to see the track. (Escorted meaning led at a mild pace and no passing so safe for all riders/bikes).  Everyone is welcome -- meet at the Timmies Trailer at 9am heading out about 9:30.

Good weather -- good roads -- lets get ridin' !

A nice, casual Sunday ride punctuated by a parade lap around an awesome track... and we got an extra parade lap out of confusion.  It's all good, no?

It was a fun crew to go on a ride with.

Yep it was a good day.. 492km door to door.   ;D

The extra lap may have been 'cause we were "stuck" behind that other bike most of the first lap... but I wasn't complainin.

I just might have to go back for a race day after the track official mentioned I should bring the Strom. I dunno... I'm way to likely to get a little too ambitious and end up replacing parts... can't afford that.
