had it on the trickle charger a few times this winter.....I think it is the alarm system doing it

according to mechanics i speak to, newer style batteries don't like trickle charging. Older ones that you can add water/acid to or okay.

Just got done my first ride on the new (to me) bike!  I was the grinning, shivering idiot riding the big red bike :)

I was tentative at first.  But just having the power there when you need it is nice.  My other one I had to plan my passes well in advance and hope for the best.  This one I just point and shoot :) I need some more ride time before I'll really be comfortable with it though.  How is one supposed to stay at 80KM anyway?  Thats about idle in 3rd !!

Got the Blandit out today; just rode it from storage to home, about 20 km, but it was sooooo nice. Thing will still do the ton, which is nice to know ;)

I spent four hours out there today.  Stopped for five minutes and watched the loonies ride their snowmobiles across the water on Loughborough.  Looked like fun. :)
