Here is the "officially unofficial" ride schedule for KRC:

http://www.kingstonriders.org/forum/index.php/topic,16.0.html

Generally the cruiser riders are happy to accept people in their rides if they are not in a club.  Groups like the Sun Riders have their own schedules and are more official than this group, which is highly free-form.  Unfortunately I'm not as available as I was in past years where I was there for almost every ride event and led most of them, but they are still going on.

This bunch on KRC tend to be sport riders of one type or another.

What the "unofficially official" schedule doesn't actually state is which DAYS of the week the rides are.....used to be thursdays and saturdays but  thursdays seem to be only cruiser crowd showing up (but not actually riding anywhere....) and i haven't made it out to a saturday ride yet so i'm not sure what the turn out is like.

Ive shown up twice for Thursday night rides at 6:00 as well and no one else was there- except the people in the parking lot that aren't actually riding anywhere as you mentioned.....everyone must be really busy this year.
I know I am
but I will still try to make the 6:00 start time for Thursdays - Saturdays are out for me.

Yeah, we've had some really LARGE groups on Saturdays and Sundays lately.  I haven't been able to make too many Thursday nights but I'm told the groups are 5-10 most weeks.
