"Introduction to Suspension with John Sharrard" at Pro 6 Cycle Trackdays for 2011Toronto, On. – Pro 6 Cycle, in conjunction with Accelerated Technologies, is pleased to announce the expansion of their partnership with the launch of “Introduction to Suspension with John Sharrard” to be available at Pro 6 Cycle Trackdays in 2011.
Introduction to Suspension will be hosted by renowned suspension tuner John Sharrard at select Pro 6 Cycle Trackdays next season for the small fee of $99.00.
John has been a staple at Pro 6 events for the past 3 years, on hand to assist riders in both suspension set-up and tuning. A successful Canadian pro racer, John has piloted everything from GP machines to Superbikes as well as riding on the ice and in the dirt. For the past decade, John has tuned numerous Canadian Championship winning road race machines working for both privateers and factory teams.
“The best tuners often come from great riders” says Sandy Noce, President of Pro 6 Cycle. “Having the ability to do both is very rare, and John is one of those people”.
Introduction to Suspension is targeted at those who want to get the most out of their trackday experience. With John’s assistance, riders will be shown how suspension adversely and favourably affects everything from lap times to tire wear; in essence riders will learn the fundamentals to help them move forward with their riding. Riders will learn how to interpret feedback from their machine and what to adjust in certain situations. These fundamentals of suspension tuning will all be taught in conjunction with the trackday itself, with minimal affect on track time.
The seminar will be available to all riders registered for Pro 6 Cycle events on the following dates:
June 13th
July 4th
July 25th
August 1st
August 20th
The track day will operate as per usual with the exception of a mid-day consult with John as well as a debriefing at the end of the day. John will also be available to answer any questions the participants may have throughout the event.
Space is limited and a registration fee of $99.00 is applicable in addition to the normal trackday registration fee.
