Thank you for posting. I'm sure to go to at least one of them, and will make this post prominent for the group.

Took the superbike to the track tonight.  Never felt anything quite like it... it's not scary power (if you've been riding litre bikes for a few years), it just makes everything else go backwards.  When I could use full throttle, it was chasing 600s and big twins down half a straight away.  Good lord.  And this bike hasn't had much done to it, just a little port cleanup, degreed cams and a full exhaust.  If Suzuki had made their street bike like this...

Played for a bit with Brian Madeley (Madeley Auto on Bath Road Kingston) on his awesome Fila Ducati... sadly, it bounced off the track a little later on... some fair but fixable damage.  Lovely sound and image following it about.

If you get the itch, the track nights being run by Shannonville are pretty well done... it was an open track tonight, just go out whenever you want all night and stay out there however long.  Only about 20 bikes tonight, $85 to do the Pro track and $55 to do the short layouts.  Just throwing in my two cents and an endorsement.
