Lookin' forward to a ride!!

Hi Everybody!

Grunt's been tellin' me to check out this site, and I'm glad I did.  Great lookin' site ... kudos to Shaman!

I ride a 2000 Blackbird with a Yosh full system, Corbin saddle, heli bars and Sportecs by Metzeler.   Except a few weeks ago when I rented a Harley to tool around Daytona during bike week .. but that's another story.  Not ready to go over to the dark side just yet!

Anyway, lookin' forward to ridin' with you folks this year ... why is it that the last week or two is the hardest to wait out ... bring on the streetsweepers!  :)

Well met.  Actually, I think we've met before, at Tony's one day.  But then again, maybe not... it isn't like Blackbirds were unpopular.  ;)

Welcome aboard y2k,I thought riding that Harley put you in a deep dark depression and that you wouldn't ride again.I am so glad you got that prescription for Prozac filled and its working so far if you are getting the riding feeling back. ;D

thanks for the warm welcome, and for goin' easy on me about the Harley thing (see photo attached) BTW, those low riders sure don't lean like the 'Bird ... only real problem I had was scrapin' the underside on a few corners .. that and about 90 fewer ponies than I'm used to ... oh yeah, and it seemed to missing one of the front brakes, so she stopped like a freight train!

Yep, seen Grunt's jacket ... good buy for those real hot August days when we're tempted to do the T-shirt thing ...

hope to get out this weekend ... we'll see
