Paul and Michelle aren't all that Internet-savvy so I'll post some dates for their track events on their behalf.  These are all held at Shannonville MSP and all start at 5:00pm, so you want to be there and unloaded before that time if you want to make the most of it.  Pricing isn't on my date sheet but last year it was $55 for the smaller tracks and $85 for the full track, IIRC.

1. April 29 - Thurs. - Nelson
2. May 13 - Thurs. - Long
3. May 25 - Tues. - Fabi
4. June 8 - Tues. - Pro
5. June 17 - Thurs. - Fabi
6. June 30 - Wed. - Nelson
7. July 15 - Thurs. - Long
8. July 29 - Thurs. - Fabi
9. Aug. 12 - Thurs. - Pro
10. Aug 24 - Tues. - Fabi
11. Sept. 2 - Thurs. - Long

There are a small group of marshals and EMS available for these events, so they are not poorly run, though not on the scale of a GoLo or Pro6 event (to name two major groups).

To contact T.O.T.T. (Paul Bowker & Michelle Tennier): 613-394-6234

Tell 'em Steve sent you if you have an interest.

If they still have room, I will be there Thursday night.

I'm 4-12 this week, sigh. I was thinking more of one of the May dates myself. I'll drop you a note once I know for sure.

Thinking I may play hooky this Wednesday and do the RACE Long Track day. If I can't get out of work wednesday I may try to get out Thursday evening.

I didn't know about the RACE day.  Hrm.  That's even more interesting. Smiley  I need a tire warmer for the rear, though... like an idiot I thought I could fix mine myself... but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.  Should have sent it to Bickle.   I can probably get away with just warming up the rear a bit with some laps but that's a drag... not a good choice with the slicks really.

 Angry

I did buy a set of these for $289 this weekend, though.

Oh puh-leeze.....tire warmers......how 'bout a cozy for your latte? Just ride the thing OLDSCHOOL style like in the pre-tire warmers days....

Nice boots though (except for the Power Ranger Red colour.....) Where'd you pick those up? I've needed a new set of boots for about 3 years now....

I got them from Good Times.  I didn't want that colour either but $289 for a set of Sidi Vertigos is less than half price.  Couldn't turn it down.

And hey, I rode on the slicks last year without a rear warmer... that thing did not work at all without heat in it.  Two laps before it stopped heading for the grass every time I went out.

Shaman,

Where exactly is Good Times, and are those boots still available at that price? I need a set of boots and gloves, and I really don't fancy shelling out a grand for a set when I can get them cheaper. Let me know!

Thanks

Actually I got thinking about it, I got them from Powerhouse Honda on Hunt Club and yes they do have some sizes still available.  They also have the next step down (can't remember the model) which is going for about $150 or thereabouts.  I would call them because I don't know how many or what sizes they have.

I got gloves at half price from Good Times as well. They had a pile of them at 50% off on the weekend.
