Hi to both of you.
Hey, to prep a part for powder coating, what work do I need to do... I have an aluminum part with clearcoat on it, I assume I need to clean the clearcoat down, but what kind of grit?

The part needs to be sand blasted with a 70 grit media. This cleans the parts and also gives the powder a profile to bond too.
