George @ Turn2
« on: August 22, 2010, 08:53:01 am »
Just want to point out again that George from Turn2 is one of the nicest guys I've met. We rode up to Calabogie yesterday, and one of my friends had a problem with his front brakes rubbing (possibly because of an over-filled fluid reservoir, possibly from sticking calipers, it's not certain still) to the point where the front end was actually pushing wide in corners ... and it was now raining. George took the time to disassemble the calipers and clean them, as well as take out the extra brake fluid - for a random guy who showed up on the track with his bike. Wouldn't take a thing for his effort.

Top guy, in my books.

Also kudos to the track operators, who picked up and stored the bike of another friend of mine who was a bit... over-exuberant coming into the track on the access road, and managed to bin his CBR on the 90 degree right-hander right near the fence. Not an unexpected event in his case, luckily for all of us he only got a broken thumb out of the deal and no police were ever involved.
