Upgrades!
« on: June 03, 2011, 12:21:12 am »
So just finished first track day thanks to Steve (Shaman), who is the hero that made it possible.

List of upgrades to do:

-1/2 twist throttle (http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/search/by_motorcycle/revolver_throttle_kits/2007/Honda/CBR600RR/all/)
- clip ons (Vortex or Woodcraft? I don't know yet)
- EBC HH Brake pads

Would love some input on guys who've run both vortex and woodcraft clip-ons, since I honestly don't know the difference. I have vortex rearsets and love them.

EDIT: So the Woodcraft clip-ons can be taken on and off without removing the triple clamp, thus my decision is made. Looking at aftermarket levers now though: CRG, Bazzaz, Vortex...no idea which to choose.

CRG or Pazzo levers.  Pazzo is a Canuck company.

Vesrah RJL pads or Ferodo XRAC pads.

Dunno why you'd want bars if your existing ones are fine...

Vesrah seems to be the way to go after some research, although K-tec doesn't carry them anymore so I'll have to get them elsewhere.

R6 1/6 turn throttle tube ordered instead of the motion pro, should be here this week, 30 bucks total.

Good call on the clip-ons Steve, I just saw so many nice bikes at the track that I wanted mine to be purdy as well. Since I have no money to spend, I'll have to pick my parts carefully.
