This is an old website. They are in the process of making a new one. Still gives you a good idea of what goes on. Loads of fun and thousands of bikes.

It's awesome there. I have been going there since '97. It will be a little different this year as Cycle Canada is no longer involved. The town of Parry Sound has taken on the organizing duties. We will see.

If you take a look at the Rally website, it will tell the story. There were a lot of unhappy people. There was triple the police presence of past years and they had a zero tolerance policy. There was radar set up all over the place.
They moved the location of things and never told anybody. All the people I spoke to said that they won't be returning next year. The whole mood this year was  not good. People were even complaining that the Thunder Ride ( didn't participate this year) was too slow.
I know how some of you hate it, but they still managed to sneak in a half an hour of stunting by the camp grounds. It was quite a site.

All in all, I had a great time with my friends, riding and getting drunk but I don't have to ride 5 hours to do that.

I don't think most of us hate stunting, BTW.  We just don't want to see it downtown in parking lots where it's dangerous, obvious and sets the mood for how motorcyclists are viewed.

I didnt really have a good time, I am thinking of doing something else next year.  After discovering Deal's Gap this year, I am thinking of taking a trip down there.   Parry Sound is looking like a bust next year.    On a brighter note, I traded my 600 in on a LITRE bike...   :o :o :o ;D

Loving everything about it....

Oh I dunno... maybe 7 days total, drive down, ride all week, come back.  Could take off after a couple/three days too.
