Ride for Dad Sign-up?
« on: April 20, 2005, 10:48:30 pm »
Hey Guys,

Lets get a good Sportbike group out for Ride For Dad this year. http://motorcycleridefordad.org/kingston/main.shtml

Ride Date: Sunday, May 29, 2005
Bring Pledges and Registration to: MotoSport Plus, 295 Dalton Ave, Kingston
Registration: 9:00 AM
Ride Leaves: 10:00 AM Sharp

I was there last year and I wish more sportbikes would have been present amongst all those wild hogs :)

I know it is a slower ride but hey its for a good cause and it is an amazing feeling when you get 250 to 300 bikes driving through Kingston and suroundings all at once.

Please sign up if you are planning on attending

I'm in, and maybe bring a passenger for this run.

I remember being the only SportBike rider at a Sunshine Ride for Kids a few years back ... definitely strange, one lone BlackBird in amongst all those HOGS!

think they'll let us be up front?   ;)

Good idea to meet at Timmy's.

I'll be there 2-up, and we'll bring a couple of the ride maps.

Anybody bringin' a cager to park at M-Plus?  They give you a swag bag ... nice idea, but a pain to haul all day on sport bikes.

hope to see a lot of you there ... it's a good cause and a good-looking route we can scout out for another ride, another time  ;)

O.K. lets meet at Timmy's for 8:30 am,

We do have to make it to Motorsport plus for around 9:00 am, so that we can register in time. There ride leaves at 10:00 am (sharp) and it is busy at the registration booth.

It's ok if we leave a little after 10:00. That will give all those 'non-sporty' bikes a head start. ;D ;D ;D

They start with a 300 bike parade through town leading up to Fort Henry were they break us up into smaller groups. The parade through town with all the bikes is "very fun".
Therefore I do suggest we meet up on time and register for 9:00 am at Motorsport Plus. I will anyways  ;)
