I know some of you have mentioned to find a motel / hotel once there.  I frankly prefer reserving in advance just because I can't see us driving around...who knows how many we'll be...to try to find a motel in Saturday traffic...  I really don't want to waste my time doing that, that's for sure. 

Just as info, i found another nice one, 1 KM from the By Market and quite reasonable.  It's the COMFORT INN DOWNTOWN OTTAWA on Montreal St by Vanier Parkway.  You can park right in front of the door.  Expedia.ca offers 86.70 $/night...not bad. 

OR

there is the DELTA OTTAWA HOTEL AND SUITES that is offered at 106.00/night with a secure parking for a fee of 16 to 25$.
