More MX Info

Positive response    I like it! To answer some questions, KMA is a new motocross oriented club run by local riders that were tired of being kicked off /out of the area's quarries/trails.
Our objective was to start a club that uses it's membership fees to lease and maintain land big enough (and in a spot where noise isn't an issue),where members can unleash their weapons of choice (mine's a Honda CRF 450)in a controlled environment (nobody puts rocks/tractors etc. in the way to keep you out).
Currently there is one motocross track in use that is 8/10 completed,as well as three others (a kids track,a technical track, and for the ones with pilot aspirations a supercross track). The motocross track is for all level riders, there are tracks around all the features so if a 75' tabletop is intimidating, you can go around it (for example)
Quad cross........Okay I'm going to voice my own opinion, and It isn't worth much....There is currently 1 Quad in our club,it has Pro numbers on it (that BELONG there)It's ridden by the nicest guy you could meet,he's probably the safest guy to ride with because of his unbelievable control....BUT....(here goes) When that thing is ripping around the track, there is such a cloud of dust that seeing,or breathing becomes next to impossible, and as to what happens when it hits a berm  ?(gotta stop here..too old to have blood pressure spiking :))
That rant over,I left the location of the tracks out because we are having trouble keeping the 'good ol'boys' and their gun rack laden 4x4 farm implements out of our compound. There are gates and fencing in the works to correct this,as well as peremanent shelter so weather isn't so much of an issue.
Thanks again for allowing me into your sanctum.
Steve, AWESOME job on the site!
Betty,.....are you teasing a poor dirty old man.....I mean a frugal, vintage MX'er(how's that for politically keerect)

Do you have a website, e-mail address or any other contact information so that I can list information for the club?  Also, if you let quad riders be involved... maybe with a separate track... I can pretty much guarantee that you can triple membership money to maintain the land.   It's a suggestion, if it's bikes only maybe I'll get a bike again... my sport quad's not that great out on the atv trails anyway. :D

Na... and you had it right the first time Bruno. LOL PC can stifle one's true expressions so offten eh.
Like Shaman's inquires, do you have a web site or should I just PM you for a few more details?
To be totally honest I'm more into trail riding than motocross, but hey... playing in the dirt is playing in the dirt.
It just a matter of what you do in the dirt.  ::)
I ride a drz 250

I met a fellow in Westport a couple days ago that told me he has a course made up near Perth that is open for all.
