I picked only 3, but I have a few honourable mentions. Expect a good year from both Hayden and Edwards.

Nicky pushed to hard, he is a great rider but still needs to mature a bit.

Does this sound familiar? Nicki had a frustrating season one year in AMA. Always a strong effort and contending for the podium but always falling short. Then, the following season he was almost untouchable and came up with the AMA championship. I was there when he won Daytona. It was awesome!

Noone is even close to Rossi....NOONE.
He is in a league of his own and has been since he rode 250 GP.
He once again proved this yesterday by toying with Gib and then won the race by 4 tenths.
Rossi will win this season easy....unless he switches to Ducati or get run over by one.

PS
Damn Ducati blows ass this year.....I mean we always knew they were a name only but this year seems to be worse then previous.

It's too bad really, I lind of like seeing different brands in the mix for the lead other than Honda and Yamaha. I'd like to see Kawasaki up there.
Yeah, Rossi rules.

The fact that he beat the lap record on tires that had over 20 hard laps on them was impressive.  But I was hoping Gibernau would win, just the same.

Thats one thing about rossi he can play with you the whole race then beat you in the end when it counts and that my friends is racing. Not like ama with maladin who has to be in front the whole time.I geuss he does not play well with others or if he gives the lead to someone else he is afraid he will not get it back. Can you say jackassssssss ::)

Figured I'd unstick this poll.  The Rossis had it... poor Gibernau never got his head together again after the elbow incident with Rossi. :)

When the smoke clears from all the wheeling and dealing, we'll need to do this for '06.
So far, Rossi is still my first chioce, however he might not dominate so much because Ferrari might take up a lot of his practice time.
Watch for Melandri. 2nd in the championship for '05, and another year on the Honda under his belt. Same for Hayden, there should be some good battles between him and Marco.
Edwards' times are looking good at Qatar so far this week.It looks like he's starting to get comfortable on the Yamaha.
I'd like to see Suzuki up in the mix, or at least see Vermulen finish ahead of Hopkins.
The Ducati's were strong at the Sepang test last month. Don't rule out Caparossi he knows how to get on the podium.
Biaggi who?? ;D
