What're you running Shaman, the ZX7?  I didn't realize that was "Vintage."

The mere thought of "Vintage" umbrella girls is cause for concern to say the least.......

> but the bike certainly ain't too "vintage"

In the world of sport bikes, 17 years may as well be eternity. :)  You should see the dyno plot of this thing, it's got a torque curve as flat as Colorado.

LOL!  Good one Shaman.  I went to highschool with a guy who still rides his '90 ZX7.  He swears by it, says he'll never own anything else.

The '90 was actually a big improvement over the '89, but it isn't legal to race in VRRA.   Soon it will be, though.

My '89 has a Penske shock, Racetech "Gold" rebuilds, and a few other modifications as well.  It isn't really quite apples to apples with an original '89.

Surprisingly, the water pump was easily sourced and not outrageously expensive.

If you want to keep in the GSXR family, I know of an '88 Gixxer for sale.
BTW, in the world of sport bikes, my R1 is vintage.  :-\

Colorado.....flat??  Not the last time I rode across it Stevie  :D

The Rocky Mountains are predominant throughout the western and central parts of the state.

Now Kansas.....that's damn flat.

Flatter than the proverbial pancake  :D
