April 16/06 Sunday Ride, meet & ride
« on: April 14, 2006, 03:53:48 pm »
Anyone going out for a ride on Sunday?  Any destinations in mind?  Meet for breakfast somewhere prior to the ride?  Any favorite breakfast spots to meet at?  Plan the ride at breakfast then go for the day.  ;D Please let me know if anyone is interested.

We did the family stuff today.  We could me at the Flying J in Napenee for breakfast at 9:15 am.  Anyone up for that and then go for a ride somewhere.   ;D

Greetings,

The day was fantastic.  It was a little cool @ 8 degress with sun &
cloud.  There was 5 of us that went to Napanee @ the flying J for
breakfast. Afterwards we headed north on Hwy #41 to the Denbigh
Backroads.  8) Traffic was light but the biggest danger were the deer
standing along the side of the roads.  The Denbigh area was the worst
for deer.  You had to be extremely careful. We made our way over to
Bancroft to visit Tim Horton's.  There were several bikes out enjoying
days ride and a coffee at Tim Horton's.  After coffee we headed south
on Hwy 28 to Lakefield and took the bypass Hwy 134 to Hwy 7 to Hwy 115
to Hwy 28 south to the 401.  Total round trip of 467 kms and a
fantastic day for a tour.
Until next time, Keep the shiny side up! ;D
