WTB: ZZR-250/first bike
« on: April 21, 2006, 05:10:25 pm »
I'm planning on picking up a new 2006 Ninja 250R in NY this weekend for $3k US, but if anybody is selling a similar used bike around here I'd be interested in taking a look. Not necessarily set on a 250, but it's my first bike and I'd like something on the slower side.

Let me know,
Peter

The ZZR 250s haven't changed at all in years, so if you buy a used one in good shape, and there are a lot of 'em out there, you'll probably save a bunch of cash and get the same thing.

There's a '93 two post down from this.  $1850.00 neg  For the same bike.

Thanks for the help... but it seems like a brand new '06 for $2,999 is pretty hard to beat. I should be picking it up sometime this week.

no doubt - an  '06 for $3K is a great deal..  especially with the current Canuck buck vs US greenback exchange rate.

Are you riding it back or truckin' it ?  Either way, I hope you has all zee papers ready for CdnCustoms,  and
your Yes-sir No-sir's  down pat..

Weather forecast looks favourable..

Just got my M1 last week so no 401 for me. Hopefully I can rent a trailer for my 4Runner and trailer it back. The Canadian dollar is really up there now... $3,000 US converts to $3,367 now. Customs shouldn't be a problem... can't be any harder than importing my Skyline from Japan last year.

If you have any questions about crossing with a bike give me a shout and I'll let you know what you need, hell Tommy or I might even see you there.
